Data Scientist, Raw Talent Hire

About the Role Join a fast-moving AI/ML team in a technical role focused on applying strong quantitative thinking and engineering ability to data science challenges. What You'll Do Use quantitative and engineering skills to develop practical solutions to data science and AI/ML problems. Work through ambiguous challenges and help turn early-stage ideas into useful technical output. Use agentic AI coding tools as part of your daily development workflow. Collaborate with a technically strong team in a high-intensity startup environment. What We're Looking For Approximately 5 to 10 or more years of relevant technical experience. A strong quantitative foundation, such as a rigorous degree in mathematics or a related field, or equivalent depth. Experience in a technical role such as AI engineering, machine learning, software engineering, or data science. A data science job title is not required. Prior experience as an early startup hire, ideally in a team of 1 to 15, with hands-on work in a zero-to-one environment. Daily experience with agentic AI coding tools or comparable development tools. Comfort working at a fast pace, with a high level of ownership and intensity. Compensation & Benefits Compensation is €70,000 to €110,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available. Location Hybrid in Berlin, Germany. Relocation support is available for candidates moving to Berlin.
