About the Role Join a Y Combinator-backed fintech startup building an AI-powered voice and omnichannel platform for debt collections and financial servicing. As a Data Engineer , you'll work directly with the founding team to design end-to-end data pipelines and analytics that turn millions of call events into actionable insights. You'll shape the data infrastructure from the ground up — building dashboards, APIs, and interfaces that put critical information into the hands of decision-makers at financial institutions. This is a high-impact, early-stage role for someone who thrives at the intersection of data engineering and product thinking in a fast-moving environment. What You'll Do Design and build end-to-end data pipelines covering ingestion, transformation, and analytics at scale. Architect the infrastructure needed to process and analyze millions of call events. Build dashboards, APIs, and React-based interfaces that surface insights to operators and customers. Collaborate closely with the founding team and external customers to translate data into real operational decisions. What We're Looking For Required: Proficiency with SQL and relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL . Proven experience designing and building end-to-end data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and analytics. Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. Exposure to or experience with TypeScript for integration with frontend dashboards or interfaces. Nice to Have: Experience with Supabase as a backend data store. Experience building dashboards and APIs to deliver data-driven insights. Background in financial services or healthcare contexts. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with customers and a founding team. Compensation & Benefits Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 USD per year Visa sponsorship is available Location This role is on-site in San Francisco, CA . Candidates must be able to work from the San Francisco office full-time.
