The Data Centre Day Engineer (AMS) is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of critical facilities infrastructure within the data centre. Working as part of the Engineering team, the role ensures maximum availability of electrical and mechanical systems through planned maintenance, monitoring, fault response, and contractor management. The Day Engineer plays a key role in maintaining uptime by supporting daily operations, coordinating maintenance activities, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with operational, safety, and regulatory standards.
