Creator Community Lead Location: Bay Area, California - Onsite Capacity: Full-time TL;DR - OpenArt is hiring a Creator Community Lead to own and grow our global creator community. You'll build deep relationships with our network of 1,000+ creators, create programs that creators genuinely want to be part of, and turn community into a major source of advocacy, distribution, new users, and revenue for OpenArt. About OpenArt We built OpenArt for people who have a vision but not a studio, and creators who have a story but not an entire production team. AI is changing what it takes to create. Work that once required teams, specialized tools, and significant time and money can increasingly be created by one person with a great idea. OpenArt puts the power of a creative studio into the hands of anyone who wants to create. Today, OpenArt is one of the fastest-growing AI creative platforms, helping millions of people create images, videos, stories, ads, and other creative content with AI. OpenArt was selected as one of just five companies in the 2026 Disney Accelerator and named to Notable Capital's Prosumer AI 40, recognizing some of the most innovative AI-native companies. Our team is small, ambitious, and highly execution-focused. We value people who take ownership, move quickly, care deeply about what they build, and don't wait for a playbook before getting started. Now we're looking for someone to help us build the next phase of OpenArt's creator community. We already work with a growing network of 1,000+ creators, producing incredible work with OpenArt and collectively reaching millions of people across social platforms. We're hiring a Creator Community Lead to build deeper relationships with these creators, bring more great creators into the OpenArt community, create programs they genuinely want to participate in, and turn our creator ecosystem into one of OpenArt's strongest sources of advocacy, distribution, new users, and revenue. What You'll Own Build Deep Creator Relationships Our creators aren't names in a spreadsheet. We want them to feel genuinely connected to OpenArt. You'll build strong relationships with our creator community, understand what they're making and what they need, identify emerging talent, and turn our most engaged creators into advocates, ambassadors, educators, and long-term partners. We want someone who knows our creators, knows their work, and knows exactly who to call when an opportunity comes up. Turn Community Into a Growth Engine Our creators already produce great content and generate millions of views. Now we want to turn that attention into measurable growth. You'll build and test ways for our creator ecosystem to drive new users, revenue, referrals, organic distribution, product adoption, and word of mouth. This could include ambassador programs, referrals, affiliates, incentives, creator partnerships, and ideas we haven't tried yet. We don't just want to know how many creators posted. We want to know how many people saw OpenArt, tried OpenArt, paid for OpenArt, and recommended OpenArt because of our creators. Build Programs Creators Love There isn't a finished community playbook waiting for you. We want you to build it. You'll create and test programs like creator councils, early access, challenges, workshops, masterclasses, meetups, dinners, creator spotlights, and product feedback sessions. The goal is simple: give creators real reasons to participate, stay connected, and advocate for OpenArt. Make Creators Part of Every Major Launch OpenArt ships fast, and our creator community should be a major distribution advantage. You'll work closely with Product and Marketing to give creators early access, get them testing new features and models, generate great examples, activate them around launches, and bring their feedback directly back to the team. Our strongest creators shouldn't hear about major launches after everyone else. They should help create the momentum around them. Grow Our Creator Network, Online and IRL You'll bring more great creators into OpenArt while strengthening our presence in the Bay Area and LA. Build relationships with AI creators, filmmakers, designers, marketers, and other creative professionals. Organize meetups, workshops, screenings, dinners, and other experiences that bring people together. You'll also be the voice of creators inside OpenArt, turning what you hear from the community into useful insights for Product, Marketing, and Growth. Who We're Looking For We're looking for a rare combination: a relationship builder, a community builder, a growth thinker, and someone who genuinely understands Gen AI. You should: Have experience building or growing creator communities at meaningful scale Be exceptional at building and maintaining creator relationships Deeply understand the creator ecosystem across platforms Have strong familiarity with Gen AI image and video tools, models, and workflows Actively keep up with what's happening in Gen AI Understand UGC, social distribution, referrals, affiliates, and creator-led growth Think about community in terms of both relationships and business impact Be comfortable using data to understand what's working Be highly independent and comfortable building without an existing playbook Love spending time with creators, both online and in person Why OpenArt OpenArt is one of the fastest-growing AI startups in Silicon Valley, building at the center of a massive shift in how people create. This is an onsite role in the Bay Area because we believe some of the best ideas and relationships are built when great people are together. Free lunch and dinner at the office Visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates
