What You’ll Do We are looking for a Client Engineer to work closely with our game teams to improve advertising technology and monetization. This role focuses on integrating and evolving the Playgami Ads SDK across multiple games while helping studios maximize advertising performance and player experience. <ul> <li>Partner closely with game teams to integrate and optimize the Playgami Ads SDK in mobile games</li> <li>Design, develop, and maintain client-side advertising technology used across Scopely's game portfolio</li> <li>Help improve ad monetization by identifying technical opportunities and best practices</li> <li>Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers, and game developers to deliver new advertising capabilities</li> <li>Troubleshoot integration issues and support game teams throughout the integration lifecycle</li> <li>Contribute to the evolution of Playgami's Ads technology, driving improvements in performance, reliability, and developer experience</li> <li>Share technical knowledge and establish best practices across multiple game teams</li> </ul> What We're Looking For <ul> <li>Strong experience developing mobile applications or SDKs using Unity, Android (Java/Kotlin), iOS (Swift/Objective-C), or similar client technologies</li> <li>Experience integrating or working with third-party SDKs and mobile frameworks</li> <li>Strong software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design and debugging complex systems</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work across multiple codebases and teams</li> <li>Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders</li> <li>A customer-oriented mindset with a passion for helping engineering teams succeed</li> <li>Interest in mobile performance, user experience, and software quality</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal English communication skills</li> </ul> Nice to Have <ul> <li>Experience with mobile advertising technologies such as Google Mobile Ads, AppLovin MAX, Unity Ads, ironSource, or similar platforms</li> <li>Experience optimizing ad monetization, mediation, bidding, or waterfall configurations</li> <li>Familiarity with mobile game development and live operations</li> <li>Experience building reusable SDKs or platform components</li> <li>Knowledge of analytics, A/B testing, and experimentation platforms</li> <li>Knowledge of backend technologies</li> <li>Experience working with large-scale mobile applications used by millions of players</li> </ul> At Scopely, we create games for everyone, and want to ensure that the people behind our games reflect that!
