Their technology empowers individuals to test-drive evidence-based healthy habits, removing the guesswork and fostering an "unstoppable" mindset where "no fail, only practice and iteration." As a 100% remote team with headquarters on a retreat in the Santa Cruz mountains, Fresh Tri cultivates an inclusive work culture that prioritizes belonging, personal growth, and continuous learning. Role Overview We are seeking an adaptable, proactive, and detail-oriented Business Operations Manager to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will serve as the connective tissue across our dynamic team —streamlining workflows, organizing documentation, supporting team culture, and ensuring daily operations run seamlessly. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced startup environments, possesses high attention to detail, and has prior experience collaborating with US-based teams. This role is a direct replacement for a long-standing team member, meaning processes and documentation are well-established for a smooth handover. Key Responsibilities Business Operations & Process Management Create, track, and maintain company SOPs, process libraries, and central documentation. Manage software subscriptions, tool licenses, and operational renewals. Coordinate project workflows, maintain master trackers, follow up on key deliverables/deadlines, surface blockers, and ensure Asana project hygiene. Administer vendor contracts, insurance/compliance documents, and critical operational deadlines. Support internal communications by preparing meeting agendas, recording notes, and driving action-item follow-through. People Operations, Culture & Training Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes for new team members. Oversee team training compliance by assigning, tracking, and completing required modules. Lead virtual team-building initiatives and manage personnel acknowledgments (birthdays, work anniversaries, company milestones). Coordinate event planning, including virtual events and complex in-person travel arrangements (flights, rental cars, carpool plans, hotel reservations). Customer Support & Other Provide high-touch support for our user community by resolving support tickets, moderating our app feed, and escalating issues appropriately. Potential for legal and/or financial operations support based on team needs. Requirements & Qualifications Must Have: At least 3 to 5 years of proven experience in business operations or similar roles, with US-based companies, ideally in early-to-mid stage startups. Fluent English speaker with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Located in Central America or South America (LATAM) to align with standard US working hours. High proficiency with task-management systems (Asana), process tools, and modern remote workspace software (Slack, Google Workspace). Experience utilizing AI tools (Claude, Gemini, others) to maximize productivity and workflows. Exceptionally proactive, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership in an evolving environment. Strong collaborative mindset and high attention to detail. Nice to have: Experience in health, wellness, software, or tech industries is a major plus! Highly detail-oriented with a proactive drive to resolve blockers and keep team projects on track. Candidates without USA startup background will not be considered. #LI-NC1
