We are looking for a motivated and driven Business Development Specialist (m/f/d) to join our team in Madrid, Spain. In this role, you will play a key part in expanding and strengthening our partner network, directly contributing to Flix’s growth in the Spanish market. You will report to the Head of Business Development for Iberia and collaborate closely with cross-functional international teams, including Operations, Network Planning, Authorizations, Finance, Marketing, and Pricing. About the Role <ul> <li data-renderer-start-pos="10847">Identify, negotiate, and acquire new bus operators to partner with Flix, establishing long-term relationships based in trust, developing long-term business plans</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="10847">Act as the point of contact for our bus partners in Spain and lead regular business reviews with them discussing and finding consensuses for all business, financial and operational topics</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="10847">Conduct contractual negotiations that ensure a win-win situation between FlixBus and the bus partners </li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="10847">Analyse KPIs, market trends and competitors’ activities, recognize problems by interpreting them, and derive suitable recommendations for action</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="10847">Collaborate closely with colleagues from other departments: Operations, Marketing, Network Planning and Pricing</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="10847">Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Bus Fleet Owners, Bus OEMs, Bus Body Builders etc, and industry associations</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="10847">Handle administrative and reporting tasks to ensure smooth documentation, contract follow-ups, and project tracking </li> </ul> About You <ul> <li data-renderer-start-pos="10944">5–8 years of experience in Business Development, Consulting, Account Management, or similar B2B roles, ideally in Spain</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="10944">Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales or other related fields of study</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="10944">Native in Spanish; very fluent English (both written and oral)</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="10944">Experience in the transport or mobility sector is a strong plus</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="10944">Strong communication and B2B negotiation skills</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="10944">Proactive, reliable, flexible and have a strong focus on achievement</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="10944">Customer driven; you have the necessary entrepreneurial spirit drive to support FlixBus profitable growth</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="10944">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse market trends and make data-driven decisions </li> </ul> We recognize that everyone carries a unique set of valuable skills and experiences.
