At Flix, we offer a dynamic work environment with competitive pay, strong growth opportunities, and a tech-driven approach to making travel more accessible, sustainable, and affordable.   As a Business Development Manager at Flix, you can make an impact by identifying and unlocking new growth opportunities across the Adriatic region (Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia), expanding Flix's network and commercial partnerships.  About the Role <ul> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2" style="font-size: 12pt;">Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities that drive network growth and revenue across the Adriatic region.</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2" style="font-size: 12pt;">Build and manage relationships with key external partners including bus operators, stations, authorities, and commercial partners.</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2" style="font-size: 12pt;">Lead end-to-end partnership negotiations, from initial outreach through contract execution, in close collaboration with Legal and Operations teams.</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2" style="font-size: 12pt;">Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer demand to identify gaps and prioritize growth initiatives.</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2" style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop and present business cases and market entry proposals to senior leadership, clearly articulating opportunity size and strategic fit.</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2" style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Finance, Networking planning, IT, RMCE and Legal teams to ensure successful onboarding and delivery of new partnerships.</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2" style="font-size: 12pt;">Represent Flix at industry events, trade fairs, and stakeholder meetings to strengthen the brand and develop new leads.</li> </ul> About You <ul> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2" style="font-size: 12pt;">Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, or a related commercial role — ideally within transport, mobility, logistics, or a fast-paced international environment.</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2" style="font-size: 12pt;">Proven track record of managing complex negotiations and closing commercial agreements with external partners.</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2" style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong analytical skills with the ability to build compelling business cases and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2" style="font-size: 12pt;">Solid understanding of the Adriatic bus transportation market landscape, including relevant regulatory or commercial dynamics is a plus.</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2" style="font-size: 12pt;">Fluent in Croatian and English; additional regional language skills are a plus.</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2" style="font-size: 12pt;">Proactive and entrepreneurial in approach, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2" style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience working in a scale-up or high-growth environment is a plus.</li> </ul> We recognize that everyone carries a unique set of valuable skills and experiences.
