<h1><strong>Business Development Director | APAC</strong></h1> <p>The Business Development Director will lead the next phase of growth: <strong>diversifying the portfolio, opening new verticals, and building a repeatable go-to-market motion</strong> for the region.</p> <h2><strong>What we want to see</strong></h2> <ul> <li>A proven track record in a senior business development or sales leadership role, ideally having built and led a team before.</li> <li>Experience running complex, enterprise-level sales cycles and managing a complex, cross-border business environment.</li> <li>Local market knowledge of APAC (China and broader Asia-Pacific)&nbsp;</li> <li>A hands-on operator who is willing to lead from the front on individual deals while also building and executing a regional strategy.</li> <li>Comfortable working with data: able to read portfolio concentration, take-rate, and activation metrics and turn them into a commercial plan.</li> <li>Results-focused and highly motivated, thriving in a high-growth, fast-changing company; able to lead the way and improve the business holistically.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Grow revenue through direct sales, finding and closing new brands across APAC.</li> <li>Design and execute an effective go-to-market strategy to enable the organization to achieve its goals, with a clear plan to reduce concentration risk in any single account, vertical, or country.</li> <li>Prioritize and win new business in <strong>SaaS, AI, Streaming and Vedio Games</strong> verticals, alongside the existing <strong>online retail base</strong>.</li> <li>Expand geographic reach, building pipeline within the approved ICP in those high growth regions such as Latam, Africa, Middle East, South East Aisa, India…wherever EBANX already has infrastructure and operations.&nbsp;</li> <li>Build and own a structured activation playbook for newly signed merchants, working with internal teams to compress time-to-live.</li> <li>Achieve regional growth targets, including GP budgets and new activation targets.&nbsp;</li> <li>Protect pricing and take-rate discipline in negotiations, balancing volume growth with margin health.</li> <li>Upgrade the sales function by hiring and developing experts across key functions, increasing both the geographic and vertical spread of revenue.</li> <li>Represent EBANX and the APAC growth story to prospective merchants, partners, and internally to leadership.</li> </ul>
