This position involves leading complex market analyses, spearheading mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, supporting strategic investments and developing strategic partnerships. The principal collaborates closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify and execute high-impact opportunities, perform detailed financial evaluations, and deliver strategic recommendations. Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following: Strategic Market Analysis: <ul> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Lead comprehensive market research to identify industry trends, competitive dynamics, and potential growth opportunities.</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="2" data-aria-level="1">Develop and present market analyses and strategic insights to senior leadership to inform business strategy.</li> </ul> Financial Evaluation and Modeling: <ul> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Create and manage sophisticated financial models to evaluate the financial implications of potential ASIC acquisitions, strategic investments, operating fleet optimizations and other business opportunities.</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="2" data-aria-level="1">Conduct thorough due diligence on strategy, including financial analysis and risk assessment.</li> </ul> Strategic Initiatives: <ul> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="3" data-aria-level="1">Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities, from initial screening to integration planning, and through implementation.</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="4" data-aria-level="1">Prepare detailed investment memoranda, board presentations, and other documentation to support decision-making processes.</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="5" data-aria-level="1">Recommend operating enhancements with a goal of profit maximization of operating ASIC mining fleet.</li> </ul> Deal Structuring and Negotiation: <ul> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="6" data-aria-level="1">Assist in structuring and negotiating deal terms, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="7" data-aria-level="1">Manage relationships with external parties, including key partners, consultants, and legal counsel, to facilitate transaction processes.</li> </ul> Cross-Functional Collaboration: <ul> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="8" data-aria-level="1">Partner with internal teams, including finance, legal, operations, and corporate development, to ensure seamless execution and integration of strategic initiatives.</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="9" data-aria-level="1">Act as a liaison between the ASIC Compute Strategy team and other departments to foster collaboration and alignment on strategic goals.</li> </ul> Performance Monitoring and Reporting: <ul> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="10" data-aria-level="1">Track and report on the performance of and strategic decisions for the operating ASIC Mining fleet, providing insights and recommendations for future opportunities.</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="11" data-aria-level="1">Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate progress and outcomes to senior management.</li> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="12" data-aria-level="1">All other duties as assigned</li> </ul> ABOUT YOU <ul> <li data-charcodes="8226" data-font="Arial,Sans-Serif" data-buautonum="8" data-margin="270" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
