As an Applied AI Agent Engineer young talent, you will take on a hands-on builder role at the intersection of LLMs and production systems, working alongside full-time engineers on agent workflows, tool integrations, backend services, and AI system architecture from day one.</p> <br> <p>This is not a shadowing role. You will own deliverables, run experiments, and ship code that matters.</p> </div> <p><br>What You'll Do</p> <div> <ul> <li>Support the design and development of AI agent workflows and LLM-powered application components</li> <li>Build and test prompt strategies, retrieval flows, tool-use logic, orchestration patterns, and backend integrations</li> <li>Assist in defining evaluation metrics, running benchmarks, and analyzing failure cases</li> <li>Improve system performance across quality, latency, reliability, safety, and cost</li> <li>Use AI coding tools as a normal part of your workflow to accelerate development and problem-solving</li> <li>Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to understand how production AI systems are designed, deployed, and improved</li> <li>Contribute to backend services, APIs, internal tools, or lightweight user interfaces when needed</li> </ul> </div> <p><br>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field</li> <li>Expected graduation in 2026 or 2027</li> <li>Solid programming skills in Python or Java; familiarity with backend engineering is preferred</li> <li>Good problem-solving ability and comfort working with APIs, debugging, and data</li> <li>Strong curiosity about LLMs, AI agents, automation, and real-world system design</li> <li>Ability to break down ambiguous problems and move from idea to working prototype</li> <li>Comfortable learning quickly and working in a fast-moving environment</li> <li>Available for a 6-month full-time commitment</li> </ul> <p>Bonus Points</p> <div> <ul> <li>Have experience in Ontology/semantica</li> <li>Personal projects or coursework involving LLM applications, agent systems, automation, or AI-assisted development</li> <li>Familiarity with OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, Hugging Face, LangChain, vector databases, or workflow tools</li> <li>Experience with Git, databases, backend services, or cloud platforms</li> </ul> </div> <p><br>What Makes You a Fit for Tech Seeds 2026</p> <div> <p>You are curious, proactive, and builder-minded.
