Backend Engineer, Junior to Mid-Level

About the Role Join a small engineering team building AI-native operations software for private markets. You will own core backend infrastructure that supports reliable, secure workflows across hosted and self-hosted deployments. What You'll Do Build and maintain backend systems for permissions, auditability, traceability, and observability. Manage deployment architectures for hosted and self-hosted environments using infrastructure-as-code tools. Improve production reliability, performance, and security. Partner with product teams to deliver features while maintaining quality standards. Apply AI-native development practices to support rapid, high-quality releases. What We're Looking For One to six years of professional backend development experience. Production experience building backend services with TypeScript and NestJS. Production experience with PostgreSQL and Prisma. Experience managing deployments with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi. Experience improving production systems in areas such as reliability, security, performance, observability, or auditability. Practical experience with AI, machine learning, large language models, or AI-native systems. Compensation & Benefits Compensation is €70,000 to €110,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
