We’re backed by Accel, Lightspeed, NfX and other top-tier investors.</p> <p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p> <p class="p1">The Assistant Manager – Global AP &amp; Financial Accounting (India) will own the end-to-end accounts payable function across all of OpenFX's group entities, while maintaining accurate books for the India entity. This is a hands-on role responsible for running a high-volume, multi-entity, multi-currency AP cycle, keeping vendor payments accurate and on time, and ensuring the financial records are clean and audit-ready.</p> <p class="p1">Based in Bangalore and reporting to the Finance Lead, India, this individual will partner closely with the global finance team and local consultants across jurisdictions to ensure alignment with group-level controls, reporting standards, and payment timelines.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p class="p1"><strong>Global Accounts Payable</strong></p> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li2">Own the end-to-end accounts payable cycle across all group entities: receive, verify, code, and process vendor invoices and expense claims accurately and on time.</li> <li class="li2">Manage AP in multiple currencies and across jurisdictions, ensuring correct entity attribution, FX treatment, and adherence to local payment norms.</li> <li class="li2">Match invoices to purchase orders and approvals, resolve discrepancies, and ensure appropriate authorisation before payment under the group approval matrix.</li> <li class="li2">Prepare and execute domestic and cross-border vendor payment runs across multiple banking platforms, ensuring correct beneficiary details, amounts, and timing.</li> <li class="li2">Maintain global vendor master data and manage vendor relationships, queries, and statement reconciliations.</li> <li class="li2">Ensure correct application of GST, TDS, withholding taxes, and other statutory deductions across entities, in coordination with tax consultants.</li> <li class="li2">Monitor the global AP ageing and cash requirements, and support treasury with payment forecasting.</li> </ul> <p class="p2"><strong>India Accounting &amp; Month Close</strong></p> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li2">Maintain the general ledger for the India entity and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and in the correct period.</li> <li class="li2">Maintain the fixed asset register (additions, disposals, capitalisation, etc.).</li> <li class="li2">Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance-sheet reconciliations, investigating and clearing reconciling items.</li> <li class="li2">Post journal entries including accruals, prepayments, and reclassifications as part of month-end close.</li> <li class="li2">Support timely month-end and year-end close in line with group timelines, including intercompany reconciliations.</li> <li class="li2">Assist in preparing management reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.</li> </ul> <p class="p2"><strong>Compliance &amp;
