We're backed by Accel, Lightspeed, NfX, and other top-tier investors.</p> <p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p> <p>We are seeking an <strong>Account Executive, North America</strong> to join our dynamic go-to-market team. You'll own the full sales cycle for institutional customers across North America — from prospecting through close, helping banks, fintechs, and other institutions move money faster and more efficiently across borders.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>New Business Development</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build and manage a pipeline of institutional prospects across North America, from initial outreach through qualification</li> <li>Identify and prioritize target accounts — banks, fintechs, and other institutions with cross-border payment needs</li> </ul> <p><strong>Full-Cycle Sales Execution</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own deals end-to-end: discovery, solution design, negotiation, and close</li> <li>Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets</li> <li>Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data in the CRM</li> </ul> <p><strong>Client &amp; Stakeholder Relationship Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders (Treasury, Finance, Payments, and Operations leaders) at prospective and existing clients</li> <li>Serve as a strategic advisor, understanding each client's cross-border payment needs and tailoring OpenFX's value proposition accordingly</li> </ul> <p><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Legal &amp; Compliance, and Marketing to navigate technical integrations and structure deals</li> <li>Work with leadership to refine sales strategy, messaging, and positioning as the go-to-market motion matures</li> </ul> <p><strong>Market Strategy &amp; Intelligence</strong></p> <ul> <li>Stay close to trends in cross-border payments and institutional finance to inform territory and account strategy</li> <li>Share client feedback with Product to help shape the roadmap</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we are looking for</strong></p> <p><strong>Must-haves:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of full-cycle, quota-carrying sales experience in fintech or payments</li> <li>A proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets</li> <li>Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from prospecting to close</li> <li>Strong communication, negotiation, and executive presence</li> <li>Comfort operating with ambiguity in a fast-moving, early-stage environment</li> <li>Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot) for pipeline and forecast management</li> </ul> <p><strong>What helps you stand out</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience selling into banks, fintechs, or other financial institutions</li> <li>Background in cross-border payments, FX, treasury, or related infrastructure</li> <li>Experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup, helping build sales process and playbooks from the ground up</li> <li>An existing network of relevant buyer personas within target institutions</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary and benefits package.</li> <li>Equity in a rapidly growing company.</li> <li>Opportunity to work in a fast-paced startup at the forefront of fintech innovation.</li> <li>Opportunity to make a significant impact on global financial infrastructure</li> <li>Collaborative work culture with emphasis on personal and professional growth.</li> </ul> <p>We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
